Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. She gained fame for portraying Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). As of 2015, Aubrey Peeples played in the role of Jerrica Jem in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her parents Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. She is the older sister of Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her school in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University accepted her but was able to enter twice and the third time she was accepted for the role she played in Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major role in The Good Mother, a Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples talked about her bipolar disorder in a 2019 interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in its list of finest actors who is under 20 in September of 2014.
